KTL 70th Anniverary Team joining the “Uniform Run”

KTL Anniversary Team joined the Uniform Run organised by Sportsroad on February 3rd. 25 students participated in the 4 km event while more than 10 students served as volunteers. Some alumnae also joined the event with their old sports uniform on. 3B NG Wai-Han won the 8th place in the 4 km event.

Gerontech Youth Challenge 2018

Five Secondary Three students participated in Gerontech Youth Challenge 2018. They invented a smartwatch to enhance home safety for the elderly. Their product was awarded a merit.

KTL Chinese New Year Fun Fair

Teachers, students and alumnae gathered at the KTL Chinese New Year Fun Fair, which was kicked off with the lion dance performance by Lions College. Principal Lee awakened the lions in the eye-dotting ceremony, while Mr Chan, our Assistant Principal, dressed up as Master of Talent, sending us blessings in Fai Chuns. Lunar New Year Fair Stall at Victoria Park

S1 TLB Experiential Camp

S1 True Light Bearer Experiential Camp, a two-day, one-night program was held in Wu Kai Sha Youth Village during the first term post-exam period. Its aim was to develop team building among students and provide them chances to challenge themselves. Both teachers and students enjoyed themselves abundantly.


Promotion of nasal flu vaccination in the kindergarten section of our school

During the outbreak of the seasonal influenza, our principal is particularly concerned about the health of students, and therefore has specially arranged the cooperation of our kindergarten section with the the Society of Hospital Pharmacists to promote nasal spray flu vaccination. The Red Cross members got an award in Youth First Aid Competition

The Red Cross members of our school participated in the 2018-2019 Youth First Aid Competition on January 27th and entered the finals to win the sixth place. Through this competition, the students have improved their first-aid skills and adaptability. It was also a valuable learning experience for them to practise their skills and exchange their experience with other Red Cross members.


Hong Kong Secondary Schools Debating Competition 2018-2019

Our S3 English debaters (3D Emily Sang, 3D Bridget Ma and 3D Nicole Lam) has won in the final round of the Hong Kong Secondary School Debating Competition 2018-2019 (Division 1, EMI Schools) against Carmel Pak Yu Secondary School on the motion that museums in western countries should return artifacts to the countries that they were taken from. Boundaries Fun Day Basketball Competition

Our school’s Grade C basketball team has participated in the 8th Sports without Boundaries Fun Day Basketball Competition and got the champion after two days of fierce competitions.

PTA – KTLS Parent and Child Picnic Day

A picnic day was organized by the Parent-Teacher Association on 20th January, 2019. 53 teachers and parents participated in the picnic in Tai O, visiting famous tourist destinations like Tai O Fishing Museum, fishing village and Fu Shan. They also had a chance to take a boat trip to see the Chinese white dolphins. The trip not only was a great opportunity for relaxation, but also enhanced the communication among students, parents and teachers.
