Visit to Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal

To strengthen students’ understanding on the history and operation of Hong Kong Judiciary, as well as the history and architectural features of Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal, students from the Liberal Studies Elite Training Programme (Junior Secondary) visited Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal on 25 February this year. Students even are honoured to have the tour guided by a retired judge this time.

Team Building Leadership Half-day Camp – Digital Adventure-based Training

To nurture students’ leadership skills, the Liberal Studies Department has selected students from the Liberal Studies Elite Training Programme (Senior Secondary) to join the Team Building Leadership Half-day Camp – Digital Adventure-based Training activity held by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups. Through technology, students had the chance to develop their individual thinking skills and team spirit in a fun and interactive way.

Dodgebee trial lesson

Hong Kong Dodgebee Association has visited our school to introduce dodgebee to our students. Though it’s the first time students tried the sport, they actively participated in it. Not only has it broadened their horizons, but it has also aroused their interests in it.

S4 Geography field trip

On 1/3/2019, S4 Geography class spent the afternoon on Sharp Island, hiking and learning about the geology and ecology of the island. The features sculptured by the nature are special and somewhat unique such as the tombolo and the “pineapple bun” formed by exfoliation. Plenty of volcanic and sedimentary rocks are found as it had once experienced violent volcanic eruptions about 140 millions of years ago. Life Buddies Mentoring Programme with Centaline Property Agency Ltd.

This year, our Careers Guidance Committee has joined the Life Buddies Mentoring Programme and cooperated with Centaline Property Agency Limited to carry out a series of mentoring programmes.

UNESCO “Global Citizenship Education” Festival

Two teams of S4 and S2 students have joined the GCE project with the theme of climate change this year. The project comes to its end with a festival taking place at Hong Kong Science Park. On 24/2/2019, the students joined the festival by setting up a booth with a mini game and a brief display of their learning product. They were also invited to a STEAM workshop in which they did experiments on detecting salinity in different solutions in order to learn the effects of climate change on the ocean [......]
