Winning in “I Generation 1104 IES Competition 2017-18″ (15/05/18)

7 students from 2 teams (S4 & S5) of our schools joined “I Generation 1104 Independent Enquiry Study (IES) Competition 2017-18″ organized by Hong Kong Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation and Roundtable Education, visioning the position of Hong Kong and its connection with other countries in Asia Pacific in ten years’ time. Science Days and STEM Fun Day (17-19, 21/04/2018)

Our Science curriculum aims to develop a broad and sound knowledge base to meet the challenges of living in a technologically advanced society and to respond to the latest STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education. The 2nd Youth Mentorship Scheme (2018-2021)

To unleash the potential of our younger generation and help them get prepared for their future careers, The 2nd Youth Mentorship Scheme was launched on 14 April 2018 to support teenagers from S3 to S5 by matching mentors with these young people who need career and professional guidance. They will also attend career talks, workshops and other job-related seminars as well as visits to enrich their knowledge of different professions.

KTLS PTA Picnic Day (1-day tour to Grass Island) (03/12/2017)

To help build better relationships between parents, students and teachers, our Parent Teacher Association organized a picnic—one-day tour to Grass-Island on 3 December 2017. We visited Tapmun Grassland, Balanced Rock, Hong Kong UNESCO Global Park and Lai Chi Chong. We really enjoy the tour and most importantly we have kept our relationship bond stronger.

Dr. Jason Chan from HKUST visiting our school (15/11/17)

We were honoured to have invited Dr. Jason Chan from HKUST, also the host of TV Program < Sidewalk Scientist> to deliver us a Chemistry lecture about the chemical substances which can shine. We were deeply interested in the lesson, gaining a lot from it. By the end of the class, the staff members also let us know more information about the admission requirement entering the School of Science (HKUST).

On 11 November, we were honoured to join True Light 145th Anniversary Celebration cum the Unveiling Ceremony of Guangzhou True Light School, showcasing True Light bearer’s talents in Arts and Music from all schools.
