POLICY ONLINE@M21-Discuss with the Chief Executive (16/10/2017)

On 16th October 2017, our students participated in POLICY ONLINE@M21 organized by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups. Students were invited to express their views on Policy Address 2017, and discuss it with the Chief Executive Mrs. Carrie Lam. It was a great honour for our students to meet Mrs. Carrie Lam in person and express their opinion. They found the forum very meaningful and fruitful.

Joint-school Youth Forum, Justice Education Project (09/10/2017)

To raise students’ awareness and deepen their understanding of Hong Kong Basic Law, a joint-school youth forum, as a part of Justice Education Project, was held in our school. It also helps develop their abilities of critical reasoning on social justice and criminal behaviors.

A Professional Sharing between Primary and Secondary Sections (06/10/2017)

To strengthen the cooperation and development of both Primary and Secondary Sections, we had invited the panel heads of the main subjects from both schools to have a professional dialogue on 6 Oct 2017. Building our Smart City – A Mural Design Activity (03/10/2017)

Organized by CLP Power Hong Kong Limited and Art Building Character Foundation Limited, 40 students of our school went to CLP Black Point Power Station and colored its structure beautifully, contributing to the art development of our city.

KTLS Alumnae visited their Alma Mater (30/09/2017)

It is our pleasure to welcome our alumnae including Dr Hon Helena WONG Pik-wan, HKSAR Legislative Councilor, from Chen Hui Association (1977) visiting us today. They reunited with classmates and friends over the weekend and went on a campus tour, visiting our refurbished creative media room, art room, playground and recalling their sweet school memories, where they belonged together.

KTLS Drama Team@Ya Wah Drama Night (29/09/2017)

Our school’s English Drama Team joined this year’s Ying Wa Drama Night and performed our own drama brilliantly. Principal also visited the crew, giving them a lot of encouragement and strength. The show was well-received, gaining the recognition and applause from the audience.

“Open Forum: Journalistic Writing—Meet to Write!” (18/09/2017)

On 18 September, 2017, the Kick-off Ceremony of KTLS’s new initiative funded by The Quality Education Fund (QEF), a profile writing project recording stories of successful female leaders in Hong Kong, cum “Open Forum: Journalistic Writing—Meet to Write!” was held in our school hall. In brief, it is a training program for our student journalists, who are aspiring to develop their writing skills to better equip themselves in developing a career in journalism.
