KTLS Alumnae visited their Alma Mater (30/09/2017)

It is our pleasure to welcome our alumnae including Dr Hon Helena WONG Pik-wan, HKSAR Legislative Councilor, from Chen Hui Association (1977) visiting us today. They reunited with classmates and friends over the weekend and went on a campus tour, visiting our refurbished creative media room, art room, playground and recalling their sweet school memories, where they belonged together.

KTLS Drama Team@Ya Wah Drama Night (29/09/2017)

Our school’s English Drama Team joined this year’s Ying Wa Drama Night and performed our own drama brilliantly. Principal also visited the crew, giving them a lot of encouragement and strength. The show was well-received, gaining the recognition and applause from the audience.

True Light Joint-School Music Master-class Concert (27/09/2017)

In late July 2017, 18 students from the four True Light Schools went to Vienna, the world capital of music, to enhance their musical development under the musical surroundings there. To showcase what they have learnt and gained from Vienna, they performed in our True Light Joint-School Music Master-class Concert held on 27 September (Wed), 7:30pm, at Hong Kong City Hall. Their singing and performance amazed and soothed the audience, making it a remarkable and memorable night.

“Open Forum: Journalistic Writing—Meet to Write!” (18/09/2017)

On 18 September, 2017, the Kick-off Ceremony of KTLS’s new initiative funded by The Quality Education Fund (QEF), a profile writing project recording stories of successful female leaders in Hong Kong, cum “Open Forum: Journalistic Writing—Meet to Write!” was held in our school hall. In brief, it is a training program for our student journalists, who are aspiring to develop their writing skills to better equip themselves in developing a career in journalism.

Global Tourism Summit@International Debating Competition (16-21/09/2017)

Two form five student debaters, Audrey Cheung and Gladys Tse from 5A, represented Hong Kong National Debating Team to join The Global Tourism Summit Cum International Debating Competition held in Hawaii from 16 to 21 September, 2017. It was invaluable experience to our students as they got the chances to compete with delegations from San Francisco, Hawaii and New Zealand. They were also exposed to the local cultures of Hawaii and shaped into an ambassador of Hong Kong.

Principal Lee giving a radio interview on RTHK Radio 1 (16/09/2017)

Education Services (18/09/2017)

It was our Education Services on 17 September 2017. On this special occasion, principals, teachers and students from Kowloon True Light School (Secondary, Primary and Kindergarten sections) gathered together and gave praise to our Lord, blessing us a fruitful school year and safeguarding everyone. Pastor Yung ended the whole ceremony by quoting verses from Romans chapter 14, stressing the unity by accepting and respecting one another, echoing what we believe as True Light bearers.

Good news! We would like to extend our congratulations to Tai Hiu Ching (5D) on winning an award from Hong Kong Territory-wide Youths Painting Day 2017 (Kowloon City District) and we are proud of this outstanding achievement.


Mr Kevin Yeung, JP, Secretary for Education, visited KTLS, supporting our S1 students (24/08/2017)

We are honoured to have Mr Kevin Yeung Yun-hung, JP, Secretary for Education as our guest, joining our Pre-S1 Summer Bridging Course, Fun World of Learning.

To welcome and navigate our newly admitted S1 students to get familiar with our campus and their classmates, we organized an orientation program for them on 24 August 2017. The first activity was filling in the blanks of the lyrics of our school song, knowing its meaning and spirit behind before singing it together.
