CCC New staff orientation

‘New staff orientation’ was organized by the Hong Kong Council of the Church of Christ in China in Cheung Lo Church on 22nd September, 2018. Our school supervisor, Rev. WU Ping-kit and our principal introduced to the newly employed teachers the vision and mission of our council in the hope that they can face the challenges in their teaching.

HKIC: Building Heritage Tour

To raise students’ interest in learning history, our S4 students taking History as their elective subject joined a guided tour “HKIC Building Heritage Tour and visited the former Lai Chi Kok Hospital (currently the Jao Tsung-I Academy). Awarded the championship in a Chinese debate competition

Congratulations to our Chinese Debate Team! They successfully defeated the affirmative side, United Christian College (Kowloon East) on the motion ‘Urban planning in Hong Kong is a failure’ and won the championship in the debate competition organized by TWGHs S. C. Gaw Memorial College on 9th September. 5A CHAN Nga-in, 5C CHUI Wing-in Lettice, 5A LAU Cheuk-ying, 5A KWOK Tsang-in, 3C LEE Hui-yi and 3C CHOI Wai-yiu , you all have done a brilliant job!

Chinese Writing Competition 香港中學生文藝散文即席揮毫大賽 2018

Congratulations to 5A KWOK Tsang-in, who has been awarded the champion in the senior secondary section in a Chinese writing competition香港中學生文藝散文即席揮毫大賽 2018! Reporters of SSISSUE magazine have visited our school and conducted an interview with our principal, Chinese teachers and Tsang-in.


諸君有禮 – A School Pilot Programme

Aiming at advocating, introducing, and enhancing Chinese cultural quality – courtesy, the Hong Kong Institute for Promotion of Chinese Culture and Jao Tsung-I Academy have organized a 13-episode radio programme 諸君有禮, hosted by Dr. CHAN Man-hung, at RTHK Radio 5 from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m.. The first episode was broadcast on 4th September.

Hong Kong Future Pioneers 2018

The Liberal Studies panel has taken part in Hong Kong Future Pioneers 2018 organised by Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Outstanding Students’ Union in July this year. Two of our S5 students were given opportunities to share views on children rights and demonstrate their leadership abilities in the contribution of Hong Kong. 5A Wong Wing Sum was even awarded the First Runner-up with her teammates in the area of Social Campaign. Jakarta Palembang 2018 Asian Games

Three of our alumnae and student (From left: PONG Yui-chi, WONG Cho-hei, LEUNG Tsz-yan) are members of the Hong Kong National Softball Team and they have represented Hong Kong to participate in the softball competitions in Jakarta Palembang 2018 Asian Games. PONG Yui-chi, who is a Form Four girl of our school, is the youngest member of that team.
