Mr Kevin Yeung, JP, Secretary for Education, visited KTLS, supporting our S1 students (24/08/2017)

We are honoured to have Mr Kevin Yeung Yun-hung, JP, Secretary for Education as our guest, joining our Pre-S1 Summer Bridging Course, Fun World of Learning.

To welcome and navigate our newly admitted S1 students to get familiar with our campus and their classmates, we organized an orientation program for them on 24 August 2017. The first activity was filling in the blanks of the lyrics of our school song, knowing its meaning and spirit behind before singing it together.

Basketball Team Promoted to Division One (Kowloon) (2017-2018)

After a series of arduous and hard-fought battles, our basketball team won the Championship (Grade B) and First-runner up prize (Grade C) in The Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation HK Island and Kowloon Secondary Schools Inter-school Basketball Competition (2016-2017). School Visits to Hangzhou (26-29/03/2017)

Thanks to the Mainland-Hong Kong Teachers Exchange & Collaboration Programme and Sister School Scheme, this year, a group of 17 teachers, led by Principal Lee, visited secondary schools including Hangzhou Senior High School and our sister school, Baochu Pagoda Experimental School, in Hangzhou in March in order to enhance our professional capacity through lesson observations and professional conferencing.

Press Release on MingPao (22/03/2017)

Our Math Department has joined the “Seed” Project from EDB to explore and develop strategies on the teaching and learning of calculating the curved surface area of various sizes of units. It incorporates the knowledge of both Physics and Biology, making use of the sizes of big and small rats as examples. Joyful@School Campaign for the 2016-17 school year (25/08/2016)

The Education Bureau and The Food & Health Bureau have jointly launched the Joyful@School Campaign for the 2016-17 school year to enhance awareness of students’ mental health. The campaign will encourage schools to organise activities to enhance the understanding of mental health among teachers, students and parents.
