KTLS Drama Team@Ya Wah Drama Night (29/09/2017)

Our school’s English Drama Team joined this year’s Ying Wa Drama Night and performed our own drama brilliantly. Principal also visited the crew, giving them a lot of encouragement and strength. The show was well-received, gaining the recognition and applause from the audience.

On May 16th, we were honoured to have invited Dr Edward Wickham, Director of Music at St Catherine’s College, Cambridge, to revisit us, especially our choir members and the actresses who performed in the Musical in the U.K. last summer. The True Light 145th Anniversary Variety Show (03/05/2017)

On 3 May, 2017, in the Academic Community Hall at the Hong Kong Baptist University, True Light girls proved that a long history and a lot of talent make a great combination. A Performance by Jingkun Theatre (24/02/2017)

As part of the Chinese learning, our school successfully invited Jingkun Theatre led by famous artists Tang Yuen-ha and Geng Tianyuan to come to our school and a fantastic show was performed in front of all of us. Some of the lines and tonal changes also require the performer to have a broad range and rich voice as well as a flamboyant yet elegant flair, along with some coy charm and forthright appeal. We all enjoyed the drama and deepen our insights into Chinese Literature.

Chinese Drama Appreciation—Confucius 63 (13/10/2016)

To enhance students’ interest and develop their abilities to appreciate Chinese drama, our Chinese teachers arranged a drama appreciation of Confucius 63 for our S.5 girls, watching it at the auditorium of Kwai Tsing Theatre.
