Our Girl Guides’ services in 2019 Carnival

The Girl Guides of our school served at the Carnival on Jan 13, 2019, by putting up a game booth, which not only helped develop their various potentials to be responsible global citizens, but also gathered strength to re-create a better environment for the community. This is a simple but powerful act by the Guides to serve others.


Visit from Professor Yamada of Nagoya City University

Professor Yamada from the Nagoya City University in Japan visited us and our teachers shared with her the whole school approach in promoting career education in our school. During her visit, she also attended a lesson of life planning education in Form 4. Through the sharing and lesson observation, the professor learnt more about life planning initiatives adopted in Hong Kong. Visit Ma Liu Shui Marine Police Base by DGC

In order to broaden the horizons of the prefects, the Discipline and Counselling Committee has arranged a visit to the Ma Liu Shui Marine Police Base. This activity can highlight the duty of the Marine Police Force and the importance of maintaining security of Hong Kong. Moreover, the awareness of perfects towards upholding discipline and order has been raised.


Girl Guides Outing Reunion

To let our Girl Guides members enjoy the fun of outdoor activities and build a bond of trust, a barbecue was organized at Lion Rock Country Park and all of them had a very pleasant time.


English Language Festival

The English Week this year, aka English Language Festival, was filled with intriguing and interactive activities under the theme of “Travelling”, including song dedication, book exhibition, game booths hosted by S5 students and film appreciation. KTLS Information Day 2018 highlights

With more than 2000 registered participants and 150 student volunteers, we all had a wonderful afternoon at Kowloon True Light School on 16th December, 2018.

Besides the admission talks, there were various student performances including our English Musical Camelot, Chinese Dance, Jazz Dance, Guzheng and gospel song sharing by our Worship Team – The Traveller. City University of Hong Kong – Hong Kong Secondary Schools Debating Competition

Congratulations to our S4 English Debate Team (4A WONG Grace Dionee, 4A CHAN Kwan-sheung Gabbie and 4A CHING Lok-chee) on winning the Championship in the Hong Kong Secondary Schools Debating Competition organised by the Department of Asian and International Studies of City University of Hong Kong. Opening Ceremony of the Cherish Water Ambassador Scheme

The Liberal Studies Panel has selected 4 students from F3 to join the “Water Speaks – Video Contest” under the “Cherish Water Ambassador Scheme”. Hong Kong Secondary School Chinese History Study Awards Scheme

Our students have participated in the 9th “Hong Kong Secondary School Chinese History Study Awards Scheme” organized by MACHSAA of the University of Hong Kong. The winners are as follows: 6B LAM Wing-yan won the second prize and was awarded a certificate and a HK$300 book coupon, while 6E YIM Yin-chun, WAN Hau-ming, 5C LEE Hoi-yi and 4A SO Fung-chi were awarded a certificate of appreciation as encouragement.
