Awarded “Outstanding Performance Certificate” in Mock Trial (28/05/2018)

Out of 28 teams participating in “The Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention, Hong Kong Mock Trial – Justice Education Project”, the student representatives from our school taking the first seed entered the competition and were awarded “Outstanding Performance Certificate”. They were also awarded “The Most Outstanding Justice Think-tank” throughout the first 4 rounds. Congratulations!

The 3rd 3D Stop Motion Competition (20/05/2018)

We are so proud of 4A Tang Wing Ka, 4C Chan Wai Ching and 4D Lo Man Ling, who won the Best Filming Award in The 3rd 3D Stop Motion Competition (2017-18) organized by Enriched IT Programme in Secondary School, recognizing their creativity and versatility.

HKCCCC Long Service Award (19/05/2018)

To express appreciation and recognition to long-serving staff members whose dedication and hard work have contributed to our school’s development and progress, HKCCCC presented long-service awards to both teaching and non-teaching staff including our vice principal Ms Ho, acting vice principal Ms Ho, school chaplain Ms Lee, Ms Sun, Ms Cheung, Mr Yan, Mr Chan, Mr Lee and Ms Siu. We are all grateful for every effort they have made for the big family of KTLS.

Principal Lee of our school was invited to be The Guest of Honour of The 29th Territory-wide Lüshi cum The 22nd Territory-wide Couplet Writing Competitions, presenting awards to the winners and other participants.

Winning in Chinese Writing Competitions (18/05/2018)

We would like to congratulate 4A Carrie Kwok and 5A Sakura Yip on receiving the Champion and 1st Runner-up Awards in The 4th Hong Kong Secondary School Student Real-time Prose Writing Competition (2018) and The 12th Filial Piety Festival Writing Competition (2018) respectively. The Award Presentation Ceremonies will be held in June and July.

Winning in “I Generation 1104 IES Competition 2017-18″ (15/05/18)

7 students from 2 teams (S4 & S5) of our schools joined “I Generation 1104 Independent Enquiry Study (IES) Competition 2017-18″ organized by Hong Kong Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation and Roundtable Education, visioning the position of Hong Kong and its connection with other countries in Asia Pacific in ten years’ time. “Inter-school Basic Law Quiz Competition” (14/05/2018)

On 12th May, 2018, led by our Liberal Studies teachers, our S4 and S5 students participated in “The Inter-school Basic Law Quiz Competition” organized by the Shine Tak Foundation. Students have enhanced their understanding of Basic Law and related legal issues, and learnt a lot through exchanging with students from other schools.


A Visit to School of Biomedical Sciences, HKU (11/05/2018)

Our S5 students studying Biology visited the School of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Hong Kong last Friday afternoon (11/5). It is a tailor-made programme for them, which include a career talk, a lab visit and practical sessions, an invaluable experience for our future leaders to know more about the career path of becoming medical staff and the ways to prepare themselves for the meaningful work.
