Secondary One “Hang Po” Form Council Inauguration Ceremony (30/06/2017)

To officially welcome the S1 students into our family and provide them an opportunity to showcase their talents in performing arts, we continued our tradition of hosting the Secondary One Form Council Inauguration Ceremony. The ceremony was held on Friday evening, 30th June, 2017 and the school hall of Kowloon True Light School was transformed into the old London streets for the performance of “Oliver” based on Charles Dickens’ famous novel, which is a heart-felt musical that explores the struggles of the lower class in Victorian London. Our S1 students showed their creativity and leadership skills in organizing the ceremony and the performance. In front of an appreciative audience of parents, teachers and students, our S1 girls played out the story of Oliver, who is an orphan, and how his life is changed after meeting the wealthy but kind-hearted Mr. Brownlow. Under the guidance of our alumna, Ms Li Si Lai, the performance was a great success.
