Recently, the Citizenship and Social Development and Tourism and Hospitality Citizenship and Social Development Departments of our school organized a cultural exploration tour to Guangzhou for Form 1 to Form 5 students, parents, and alumni. The tour provided students with the opportunity to learn about Guangzhou’s cultural heritage by visiting various places of interest such as the Shameen Universal Building Complex, Shangxiajiu Street, Canton Tower, and Yongqingfang. Additionally, the students had the opportunity to interact with locals, participate in Chinese language classes, and tour the campus of Guangzhou True Light Middle School. This experience allowed students to broaden their horizons, deepen their understanding of different cultures, and develop their social and cultural competencies. By organizing such activities, our school demonstrated its commitment to providing students with a holistic education that emphasizes both academic excellence and cultural awareness, preparing them to thrive in a globalized world.
