Getting to Know the Greater Bay Area: Cultural Tour to Macau
To broaden the students’ horizons and facilitate a deeper understanding of the historical and cultural significance of Macau’s handover, as well as to explore the reasons behind Macau’s growing tourism industry, the Citizenship and Social Development Department of our school organized a cultural tour to Macau on 13 and 14 July. The tour encompassed a rich itinerary, including visits to the Macao Science Center, Team Lab, Ruins of St. Paul’s, and the Handover Memorial Hall, offering students diverse learning opportunities across various fields, such as visual arts, STEM, and tourism. The tour also served to deepen the students’ understanding of the Greater Bay Area, further enriching their knowledge and appreciation of Chinese culture.
