To enhance students’ understanding of local tourism issues, the Tourism and Hospitality Department led our students to participate in “Comprehensive On-site Observation Program” organized by Caritas Chan Chun Ha Field Studies Centre. The program included talks on topics such as the globalization of food and beverage, sustainable development from the perspective of community conservation, tourism carrying capacity in Cheung Chau, as well as Chinese culture seen through traditional architecture. The activity was rich in educational content and diverse materials. Through the on-site observations, the students were able to apply what they learned, returning with a fruitful experience.
