To broaden students’ horizons and reinforce their love for the country, our school participated in the China Merchants Group’s “Growing Together, Walking with China Merchants” (「伴你成長．招商同行」) program. After nomination and interviews, Ng Man Hei (S4), Lim Tsz ching (S4), Chong Man Ying (S4), Chu Ching Lam (S4), Yang Sin Sin (S4), Xu Pui Yan (S4), and Chiu Fei Yeung (S4) took part in the Huaxia Expo: Looking at Today. During the summer vacation, they traveled to Sichuan, Chongqing, Shanghai, and Beijing for study tours. They also visited sites such as Sanxingdui, the Dujiangyan Irrigation Project, the Museum of Sino-Japanese War of China, and Tsinghua University, deepening their understanding of the country’s history and culture.

On 21 September, the participating students attended a sharing session to present their insights and experiences from the study tours. Xu Pui Yan and Chu Ching Lam’s effort and outstanding participation were recognized and they received the “Outstanding Study Tour Member Award.”
