Christmas “Intergenerational Integration” Service Learning
Our school’s National and Social Caring Committee has collaborated with the School Fellowship to prepare various intergenerational integration programs for the Christmas season. These include visiting elderly residents with cognitive impairments in Tung Tau Village and participating in gatherings with seniors at the True Light Home. Through volunteer services, we respond to one of this year’s school concerns, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal SDG 3: “Good Health and Well-being.” During Christmas, we also practiced the biblical teaching that “it is more blessed to give than to receive,” conveying love and joy to the elderly in the community.
