On 14 January, the Reading Promotion Committee, in collaboration with the Chinese Language Department, successfully held a reading seminar. We were honored to invite writer Mr. Ng Chun Yin as the guest speaker. Mr. Ng delivered an engaging and insightful presentation, humorously interpreting the main themes and writing background of his work “Paper Clay,” while guiding students to explore various elements of the novel and writing techniques. After the seminar, students expressed that they gained a lot from the experience, and Mr. Ng even signed autographs for them. This event not only provided students with the invaluable opportunity to interact with an author but also ignited their passion and pursuit for literature and creative writing.
