“House of Joy and Mercy” Cat Shelter Service Learning
To support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, our school’s National and Social Care Ambassadors visited the “House of Joy and Mercy” Cat Shelter on 27 February. By engaging in activities with stray cats, students gained a deeper understanding of animal welfare in Hong Kong and reflected profoundly on the value of life through caring for abandoned animals. This experience not only heightened their awareness of animal protection but also encouraged them to cherish life and respect the rights of all living beings. The school aims to inspire empathy in students through such activities, empowering them to contribute positively to society.
