Outstanding Chinese Virtual Space Design Competition
Man Yin Yin Selena (S4), Yang Sin Sin (S4), and Yuen Wing Yin (S4), represented our school in the “Outstanding Chinese Virtual Space Design Competition” organized by the Hong Kong Subsidized Secondary Schools Council. They won the first prize, marking the second consecutive year our school has achieved this honor. The students focused on the theme of the renowned Chinese architect Leoh Ming Pei, using generative AI to design 50 radio drama scripts that introduce architectural stories. They also recreated Pei’s famous works in Delightex virtual reality for players to explore, including the 70-storey skyscraper Bank of China Tower, the Louvre, Suzhou Museum, and Islamic Art Museum. Additionally, the students designed a 3D architectural puzzle game, allowing players to reassemble building components and experience an unforgettable architectural journey.
We would like to acknowledge Chan Choi Ying (S6), who served as the competition advisor, sharing insights from past competitions and assisting the participating students with any challenges they faced during the competition.
