Champion at the UNSDGs Debating Competition
The English Debating Team has won the Championship at the UNSDGs Debating Competition. Congratulations to S4 Chow Tsz Hei, Ng Ching Yin, and Tang Hiu Yan! Additionally, our third speaker, Tang Hiu Yan, was recognised as the best speaker in the debate for her eloquent closing speech. Since November, the students went through the preliminary, quarter-final and semi-final rounds. The Grand Final took place on 20 May at the City University of Hong Kong, with the motion “Bamboo scaffolding should be retained in Hong Kong”.
