Film Appreciation – My First of May
To align with the school theme “Rooted in Acceptance, Blossoming with Resilience,” the Parent-Teacher Association organised a film screening event of My First of May on 13 September. Through the story of the characters’ growth and their journeys of self-discovery, the film inspires students to persevere when facing challenges. Additionally, it helps improve communication between parents and children, fostering mutual understanding and strengthening parent-child relationships. After the screening, director Mr. James Hung shared his inspiration for the film, encouraging students to face adversity positively. Due to the enthusiastic response, an additional screening was arranged, allowing over 200 teachers, students, and parents to participate.
