80th Anniversary of Victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression Series: Nanjing and Beijing Historical and Cultural Exploration Tour
Our school was invited by the Education Bureau to participate in the “80th Anniversary of Victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression Series: Nanjing and Beijing Historical and Cultural Exploration Tour”. Through exchange activities and on-site visits, students gained an understanding of the history of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, cultivated a sense of patriotism, and recognised the importance of safeguarding national security. During the exchange programme, students visited Red Li Lane and the Memorial Hall of Jiaozhuanghu Tunnel Warfare Site of Beijing to learn about the struggles and wisdom of revolutionary martyrs. They also paid tribute at the Museum of the War of Chinese People’s Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Lugou Bridge, and the Nanjing Anti-Japanese Aviation Martyrs Memorial Hall. In Beijing, they visited the Museum of the Communist Party of China to understand the hardships of the nation’s founding. On the final evening, they presented a report in the form of a radio drama titled “Love Letters in the Sky,” paying tribute to the air force of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
