Champion in Tianda Policy Research Essay Competition
To cultivate students’ research capabilities and academic interest, our school’s Citizenship and Social Development Department and English Department participated in the inaugural Tianda Policy Research Essay Competition organised by the Tianda Institute. A total of ten teams, five from tertiary institutions and five from secondary schools, advanced from the preliminary round and presented their work before the judging panel. S4 Chan Tsz Lam Cassie, Cheng Yat Nam Adelyn, Leung Mei Sze Mitch, and Wong Hei Nam Kayce, secured the championship in the secondary school category with their paper “How AI Impacts Hong Kong’s Art, Business, and Finance Fields”. Their work examined the current state of artificial intelligence, its effects on various industries, and future outlooks. Their paper will be included in the competition anthology published by the Tianda Institute next year.
