Outstanding Participant Award at 11th Outstanding Student Leaders Selection
To enhance students’ understanding of current social issues and improve their policy analysis, public speaking, and debating skills, the Citizenship and Social Development Department nominated students to participate in the “11th Outstanding Student Leaders Selection” organised by the Arete.
S5 Ng Ching Yin successfully made it to the shortlist and participated in a series of training and experiential learning activities. These included a seminar on “Analysis of Hong Kong’s Current Governance and Future Development,” workshops on “Issue Analysis and Thinking Frameworks” and “Debating Techniques,” a simulated Chief Executive Election Forum, an Outstanding Trainee Achievement Sharing Session, and the writing of a Personal Growth Report. These activities helped enhance students’ diverse competencies and leadership qualities. Ching Yin actively participated throughout the program and demonstrated outstanding performance. She was honoured with the “Outstanding Participant” award at the awards ceremony held on January 28.
