Our school, together with six other schools, including Carmel Pak U Secondary School, TWGHs Mrs. Wu York Yu Memorial College, Wah Ying College, S.K.H. Holy Trinity Church Secondary School, and Munsang College, won the gold medal in this year’s International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) with our innovative biosensor “PestiGuard” for multiple specific pesticide detection. The project ranked top ten in the global high school category. In the specialist awards for the global high school category, the project won the second place in the category for “Best Software” and was ranked top five in both “Best Model” and “Best Environment Village” categories.
