Kowloon True Light School has always been committed to discovering and nurturing students’ innate talents while actively providing diverse learning experiences. Throughout this process, the school places particular emphasis on the holistic personality development of gifted students and has meticulously constructed a gifted education system with the “Sight, Heart, Mind” initiative as its core framework. This system aims to assist students in fully realising their potential and achieving all-round development through systematic cultivation and guidance. On 13 November, the Academy for Gifted Students hosted its inaugural gathering, featuring a special guest speaker, Ms. Kong Yvette Man-Yi, a former Hong Kong Olympic swimming representative and MIT alumna. She shared her extraordinary journey from an Olympic athlete to an MIT professor and delved into the key competencies required in the era of artificial intelligence, encouraging students to boldly stand out and pursue excellence amidst the waves of change.
