MuseTeens: Youth Leadership Scheme 2025 Awards
S3 Wong Cheuk Yu and S4 Ng Tsz Yan participated in the “MuseTeens: Youth Leadership Scheme 2025” organised by the Hong Kong Heritage Museum. S3 Wong Cheuk Yu received four awards in the programme, including the “Active Participation Award”, the “Enthusiastic Cultural Promotion Award”, the “Campus Ambassador”, and the Outstanding “MuseTeens” Award.
The programme offers secondary school students specially designed courses each summer to cultivate their interest in art, culture, and history while providing insights into the work of museums. This year’s edition, titled “Traditional Craft Reimagined: Guangcai,” focused on the inheritance and innovation of ceramic art. Guided by professional tutors, the students created artworks that blended the distinctive characteristics of Guangcai with imaginative creativity and youthful vitality, showcasing how this traditional craftsmanship can be revitalised and adapted in modern life. The Guangcai creations by our students were selected for display in the results exhibition, which has been open to the public at the Children’s Discovery Gallery of the Hong Kong Heritage Museum since 15 November.
