On 5 May, our S5 students participated in the “Chat with Legislative Council Members” programme organised by the Education Service Team of the Legislative Council. During the event, students enjoyed a tea gathering with Hon Yiu Ming, MH, Legislative Council Member (New Territories North), where they engaged in fruitful discussions about the planning of the Northern Metropolis and his experiences in youth political participation.

Furthermore, students joined a guided tour to gain a deeper understanding of the work and voting system of the Hong Kong Legislative Council, thereby enhancing their civic awareness. The programme provides an interactive platform of communication where students can directly talk with Members and raise questions on different topics for discussion, such as the work of the Legislative Council and current affairs.
