12 May to 14 May marked our school’s Reading Week. This year’s theme was “Worlds in Words—Weathering Every Wind, Wearing Every Wing.” To combine learning with entertainment, the Reading Promotion Committee prepared a set of “100 Literary Questions” for students to study. Additionally, to foster a reading culture on campus and enrich students’ cultural foundations, several exciting activities were held during Reading Week.

During lunchtime on 12 May, an Inter-House Competition was held on the playground, including events like Speed Gomoku, Running Man Name Tag Ripping, and a hands-and-feet coordination race. These activities incorporated questions from the “100 Literary Questions” to reinforce students’ literary knowledge through games.

During lunchtime on 13 May, two Inter-House Quiz Competitions took place in the auditorium, challenging participants with related knowledge and allowing both participants and the audience to review and learn. On the same day, the Reading Promotion Group also organised a “Flash Mob Library” and “Blind Date with a Book” event, where both teachers and students participated enthusiastically and enjoyed the activities.
