4 S4 students were the 1st runner-up in the 9th Inter-School Hong Kong History and Culture Project Competition. They conducted a historical research on the post-war pop culture in Hong Kong to retrace and explore the historical development of Cantopop in the period from 1970s to 1997. They finished a written report of 10,000 words and presented their research findings in front of a panel of judges comprising professors of renowned universities in Hong Kong. Through collection and analysis of primary sources and research materials, their knowledge and skills in conducting self-directed learning were enhanced.
