STEM Cross-curricular module: Archaeology @ Science
Our school participated in an EDB school-based support programme where we collaborated with Maryknoll Fathers’ School on developing a school-based STEM cross-curricular module for junior secondary titled Archaeology @ Science. S2 students engaged in simulated archaeology activities where elements of mathematics, geography and science came into play. Students used science knowledge and mathematical formulae to work on dinosaur weights from fossils. We opened the classrooms to education practitioners from different schools and shared learning and teaching experience afterwards.
