Chief Executive’s Award for Teaching Excellence
The Chief Executive’s Award for Teaching Excellence is organized by the Education Bureau to recognize accomplished teachers who demonstrate exemplary teaching practices and to enhance their professional image. Congratulations to Ms. Leung Ching Wan, Ms. Ho Ka Wai and Ms. Wan Yuen Fan for winning the 2019/20 Chief Executive’s Teaching Excellence Award. The award honours our Chinese Department’s dedication to excellence in professional competence, student development, professionalism and commitment to the community, and school development. It is our belief that “Literary arts cultivate temperament, Chinese Studies mold character.” Chinese culture is formed by an immense and profound body of literary classics and artistic works. Through formal teaching and experiential learning activities, our Chinese department immerses students in the realm of literature and arts, cultivates their temperaments, and nourishes their growth. Teaching Chinese language is not only about transmitting subject knowledge, but also about passing on time-honoured wisdom to students. Our school has all along attached great importance to the learning and promotion of Chinese culture. All the efforts that teachers and students devoted to Chinese Language over the years have finally come to fruition. We will continue to strive for excellence, and do our utmost to provide high-quality Chinese education for our students. Please visit the link: https://www.ate.gov.hk/tchinese/assesresult_1920.html
