To strengthen students’ understanding on the quality of life in Hong Kong, the Liberal Studies Department had organised a social enterprises human library workshop for all S4 students, to share about the situation of ethnic minorities, elderlies and youth at risk in Hong Kong, as well as how social enterprises help with different groups in Hong Kong. The workshop provided an opportunity for students to meet disadvantaged groups in person and understand their needs. They also learnt about the concept of “social entrepreneurship” to begin serving the society by using their own knowledge.
