Kwan Wai Yan (S4) participated in the “Hong Kong 200” Leadership Project organised by The HKFYG Leadership Institute. After a series of workshops and reports that began in March, her group won the silver prize and was awarded HK$8000 to fund the project “Hong Kong Age-venture”. The project aims to create VR of memorable attractions in Hong Kong, and offer seniors the opportunities to experience VR, and share with students their stories of the past about these attractions. Stories and photos will be posted on social media platform anonymously that enables students to revisit memories of old Hong Kong. It is hoped that by bringing older and younger generations together, it can foster intergenerational connectivity and embrace social inclusion.
