The Opening Ceremony and the first assembly were successfully conducted on 1 & 2 September, which marked the commencement of this school year. With the global pandemic still raging and looming large, we were grateful that all students had an opportunity to take turns attending the ceremony in the hall. To begin the new academic year, Principal Lee introduced the theme of the year ‘When Acceptance Flows, Gratitude Can Grow’ to the whole school, underlining the importance of having a heart of gratitude when faced with difficulties and hardships. To encourage our students to learn from the success stories of the True Light graduates, we welcomed the Class of 2021 who obtained excellent results in the HKDSE this year back on campus to receive the DSE Star Awards and Apex Scholarships at the ceremony. Armed with new targets and ambitions, KTL students embark on a new journey of learning and growing as individuals and a community.
