The STEM week was successfully held from 10 October to 14 October. A wide range of interesting STEM activities and booths were organized, such as interleaved phone books separation, potato-chips can throwing, chemistry mini-experiment and robotics competitions, so as to pique students’ interest in scientific knowledge. Students explored the close relationship between science and daily life and enjoyed the fun brought by technology. They also gained hands-on experience making royal icing cookies with teachers and learned the science behind it. In addition, an interclass wood structure weight-bearing contest was held, in which students applied their knowledge about weight-lifting to design wooden structures. Students participated in all the activities with great energy and passion.
