Health Day 2022
To promote healthy living and convey the importance of maintaining a “healthy life”, “healthy body”, and “healthy mind”, the Environmental and Health Education Committee worked with the departments of Biology, Geography, Physical Education, Red Cross, STEM, and the Reading Promotion Committee to put together an amazing array of booths and activities on 18 October. The day was topped off with an inter-house competition in which students participated with joy and smiles. In the afternoon, all S5 and S6 students congregated in the school hall to do stretching exercises for 10 minutes before the assembly, while the other students learned to do the exercises at home. Then, a guest speaker from the “Sport Education Programme”, funded and initiated by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, talked to our students about “Exercise and Nutrition” to help them better understand the relationship between sports and their daily life. At the end of the assembly, our S5 and S6 students received gifts prepared by the Environmental and Health Education Committee to encourage and cheer them up.
