The 5th Outstanding Teaching (Character Education) Award
Since the establishment of True Light, we have been committed to nurturing and cultivating moral values in our students. In recent years, KTL has implemented ‘Courtesy and Manners in True Light’, a unique program that promotes moral and ethical education through language learning, and won the 5th Outstanding Teaching (Character Education) Award (第五屆品德教育傑出教學獎). The award was co-organized by the Education Bureau and the Winsor Education Foundation, and judged by a panel of experts, academics and professionals. We are very honored to be one of the two schools in Hong Kong to receive the “Outstanding Award”. This is a significant recognition of our school’s efforts to promote moral education and it means a great deal to us. On 3 November, Principal Lee Yi Ying, Vice Principal Law Chor Wan and Vice Principal Leung Ching Wan attended the award ceremony and sharing session, in which they shared their experiences in promoting the Chinese culture of courtesy in school.
