Excursion to Mai Po Nature Conservation Area
The Humanities Department has introduced the “Humanities Elite Training Program” to foster experiential learning and enhance the intellectual horizon of its students. This exclusive initiative offers selected students the opportunity to embark on a series of field trips to various locales across Hong Kong, allowing them to acquire valuable knowledge, skills, and values through real-life experiences.
On 13 February, the Life and Society Studies as well as Geography Departments led an excursion to the Mai Po Nature Reserve, exclusively catering to the humanities elites. The trip facilitated an immersive learning experience, aiding the students in comprehending the vital significance of wetland conservation.
