On 23 May, our school had the honor of hosting Mr. Ryker Chan, the acclaimed screenwriter who was awarded the Best Screenplay at the Hong Kong Film Awards. The topic of the session was “How to Become a Detective,” which Mr. Chan elaborated on through a video conference from his workplace in Beijing. He shared his valuable insights with our students on the challenges and rewards of screenwriting, along with the creative concept and motives behind his masterpiece, “The Greatest Detective.”
We express our gratitude to Emperor Motion Pictures for their generous support in lending the film to our school for a free screening. This enabled our students to relish the award-winning film in the Performing Arts Threatre, equipped with high-quality audio-visual facilities.
