Service Learning: The “Dialogue in the Dark” Intergenerational Integration
To foster empathy among students, our school’s National and Social Caring Committee collaborated with the Elder Academy to coordinate an interactive learning experience “Dialogue in the Dark.” The activity allowed student ambassadors to immerse themselves in the lives of visually impaired individuals and learn about the challenges they face daily. It was an invaluable opportunity to interact with the elderly, gain a deeper understanding of their needs, and be inspired to create products that help them overcome challenges.
