In partnership with the Community Partner Foundation and Dr. Joseph TING Sun Pao, the Chinese History Department has designed various educational materials and games to promote children’s interest in and appreciation for Chinese history. This also promotes the importance of Chinese culture and fosters our students’ empathy.
On 29 October and 12 November, our students and Dr. Joseph TING Sun Pao taught kindergarten and primary school students about Chinese History through interactive games at the Hong Kong Palace Museum. It was a valuable learning experience for the children to discover the origins of different Chinese idiomatic expressions.
