The Chinese department of our school nominated a number of senior form students to participate in the 2023 Greater Bay Area Storytelling Speech Competition (Hong Kong Division) (2023 粵港澳大灣區故事演講大賽(香港賽區)) organized by the Hong Kong Education Development Association. On 11 November, the competition was successfully held, with our students taking home various accolades. Chow Yin Ching and Xie Xinyi from S4 won the championship in the Cantonese group and Mandarin group respectively, and So Ming Yan from S4 won the Merit award in the Cantonese group. Wu Teresa Zhixi from S5 won the championship in the Mandarin group, and Li Ka Yi Catharine won the first runner up in the Cantonese group.

In addition, Chow Yin Ching also won the first runner-up in the Cantonese group of the 2023 Asia Inter-School Speech Competition (2023亞洲學界朗誦大賽(總決賽)). Congratulations to all the winners who demonstrated excellent public speaking skills in the competition.
