On 6 February, our Civic Education Department led over 30 students from Form 1 to Form 5 on a visit to the Hong Kong Wen Wei Management College as part of the “Hong Kong Jockey Club Media and Information Literacy Education” project. The itinerary was elaborate, including visits to the printing factory, the Newspaper History Museum, and the Multimedia Center. Students also participated in a new media video shooting workshop, taking on roles such as hosts, interviewees, planners, and cameramen. Through the morning’s activities, students learned about the role and work of the media, effectively enhancing their information literacy skills.
