Students from the Citizenship and Social Development course participated in the “Hong Kong Schools Civic Education Officer Selection Contest,” organized by the IPS Education Equity Fund. The contest aimed to enhance teenagers’ “social responsibility” and “civic awareness.” Several students from our school successfully made it into the top 100 and won awards at the graduation and awards ceremony held on 31 August. Our school was honored with the “School Activation Award,” and the students performed exceptionally well. Li Ming Yeung, Wong Yi Lam, Wong Sum Yee, and King Hiu Ying became “Hong Kong Civic Education Officers,” So Ka Yuk won the “Top Ten Outstanding Officers Excellence Award.” Lee Ching Yiu further distinguished herself by winning the “Top Ten Outstanding Opinion Leader Award” and the “Top Ten Outstanding Officers” second runner-up.
