Geography Urban Fieldwork
To enhance the fieldwork skills of our S4 Geography students, the Geography Department organised an urban fieldwork study in Wan Chai on 2 February. During the activity, students applied essential fieldwork techniques, including systematic observation and pedestrian counting, as part of a comparative study between a redeveloped site and an area experiencing urban decay.
Through this hands-on learning experience, students gained valuable insights into urban development and renewal, while strengthening their data collection and analytical skills in an authentic urban setting.
