Our school was presented with the “Group Volunteer Award” by Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) in recognition of past students’ contributions to children with serious illnesses and their caregivers. As a partner of Ronald McDonald House Charities for four years, students have offered support ranging from online storytelling during the pandemic to organising a traditional Chinese medicine workshop in recent years, and assisting with the “RMHC Homebound Adventurers Charity Orienteering Challenge”. They have brought warmth to seriously ill children and their carers and put the school motto into practice within the community. This collective compassion will be transformed into tangible support for the families of the sick children.
