Ten students attended the “Hello Scientists” lecture series under the “2026 Future Science Prize Youth Science Popularization Activities” on 19 September, where they listened to an inspiring sharing by Professor Dai Xi, laureate of the Prize in Physical Sciences. During the lecture, Professor Dai introduced the groundbreaking research conducted by his team in the field of topological electronic materials in an engaging and accessible manner, showcasing the perseverance and innovative achievements of scientists akin to finding a needle in a haystack. The participating students were deeply inspired and were even invited to the stage to ask Professor Dai questions, making the event an immensely rewarding experience for everyone involved.
