Polish Christmas manger sculpture at PMQ
Organized by the Polish Consulate General and PMQ, with the support of the International Cultural Center in Krakow, the traditional Polish culture was brought to Hong Kong through the exhibition of Polish Christmas manger (szopka) sculptures for the first time. A large 1.8m tall Christmas manger sculpture (Hong Kong version) was displayed to the public. On 15 December, the Tourism and Hospitality Department and the Visual Arts Department took our students on a tour to learn more about the history of the PMQ and to make a Polish Christmas manger sculpture with Filip Fotomajczyk, which was exhibited at PMQ during the Christmas season.
