King George V School Model United Nations Conference
From 7 to 8 February, students from our school participated in the King George V School Model United Nations Conference. The event was conducted in English, with students representing different countries to debate and persuade on various issues. Through this activity, students gained a deeper understanding of the role and operations of the United Nations, enhanced their analytical abilities and public speaking skills, and benefited greatly from the exchange with peers from other schools.
Students from various local and international schools participated in the conference. Our students performed exceptionally well, winning several awards. S5 Tang Hiu Yan and S5 Liu Lok Yi were awarded the Best Delegate Award. S4 Leung Mei Sze won the Best Speaker Award, and S2 Chung Ni Fu Gwyneth got the Most Improved Award.
